Question about English (US)
I said “This is really good. I really like it.” But I think my r’s sound like the w sound. If course I practice it a lot but I still can’t pronounce it correctly. What do you think about that?

Your first R was not so clear but your second R was clear. Stress the feeling and slow down just a little. Even tiny pauses give you time to get ready for challenging sounds.

In my mind, when I stress the feeling of the sentence comes out more clearly. I rushed the second set of sentences and my pronunciation was not as clear. As you know, the らりるれろ are fast sounds with the tongue just touching the roof of your mouth for an instant. The W sound is made with the lips. The lips don’t have to move at all to make a clear R sound. If you hear the W, then hold your lips with your fingers and focus on back tongue position. Practice the R sound in combination with other consonants 子音 and other vowels 母音. Practice whole words and phrases and sentences.

Try your original sentence again a few times and imagine your mouth parts positions. Slow it down so you can understand the movement. As you gain consistency, you can work on speed. Walk before you run. Rrrrun. Long R sound please. Rrrrred. Rrrrroad. Rrrrrarrre. (Rare). It’s a little embarrassing but by putting your finger on the underside of your tongue as you make the R sound can help you be more conscious of the correct placement and movement.
