Question about Korea, Republic Of
when is the best time to visit Korea? I would like to visit at a time other than the peak tourist season and monsoon rain season. Cold weather is not a problem unless there is very heavy snow or -15°C temperature. Thank you in advance

As someone who hates humid and sizzling weather, I think Nov. is the best.

@asliyldz March and April could be okay as well but spring is the worst season when it comes to the damage of the yellow dust from China. Fall is a bit better than spring.

@hWalthy clean weather is more preferable and i can improve my Korean in waiting time so things can be much easier in there

@aasli97 Since you said that you don't like humid and hot weather, I disagree with sjmj. June is also fairly hot and sticky, and the humid and hot weather lasts until almost mid September. Since travellers walk a lot, you'll easily feel hot and tired if you come to Korea in June, late Aug~ mid September although everywhere is fully air-conditioned. As for April, it's fairly dusty due to the yellow dust which frequently blows in from China. The yellow dust isn't just a dusty wind, it contains lots of fine dust pollutants that are very harmful for health. Additionally, if you're planning to travel to several different cities, you better avoid from late September to early October next year because we have Chooseok holidays during the period. Traffic will be really bad unless you take an airplane or a train. But they'll be all booked a few months earlier.
