Question about Japanese

How should I say the school year I'm in?

In my country schools go until grade 11. I'm in year 11, meaning I'm a senior. Should I say 高校3年生 even though it's usually used for grade 12? I don't want to say 高校2年生 because I'm not a junior but I'm in 11th grade. What would be the correct form?
