Question about English (US)
What does "Dude, Japan for you" in this tweet mean?
Dude, Japan for you, all sorts of social/national contradictions come floating up over the tiniest of crap, I got a feeling you ain't a bad guy, just another foreigner (like me) commenting in from the outside, and its all dark and hazy inside, thank G-D for football weekends!

@ttmto A more common way would be to say "Dude, *that's* Japan for you".
It basically means that's the way it is.
My dog always wants to eat my food.
That's dogs for you.
The car is fast but is uses gas too quick.
That's sports cars for you.
I love Northern Canada but it's so cold.
That's Canada for you.

I agree with @Aaron_Hill. I do not read this meaning as ”Japan suits you.” That doesn’t really make sense. It is a shortened form of “That’s Japan for you.” That makes sense.
