Question about English (US)
ex. "I should've done it"
Would you actually pronounce this "ve" sound everytime? In so many daily conversations, I feel they're obviously omitting this " ve " sound and pronounce like "I should done it".
Everytime I questioned natives if they pronounce it, they told me they do everytime. But I believe they're complementing the lack of pronounciation in their head and guessing what the person means unconsciously.
What would you think as a native speaker?

When speaking clearly, we do actually pronounce it. But depending on the accent, “ve” sounds more like “a” as in “I shoulda done it” (pronounced “shooduh”). Maybe that’s where the misunderstanding comes from

Think of it like this:
Should + of, and then say it fast. The 'D' at the end is like a Spanish R sound. You rolling your tongue a little bit to connect both words together

@Odd_Dreamz Wow. This is so helpful. I found why I felt like that. thank you so much!
Then, How about " 'd " sounds like " It'd " or " I'd " ? Is there any rule like that?
