you can use both. perdon in general . but it's going to depend how bad is the problem. If the problem is really serious. use perdoname. to use perdoname don't mind if you are women o men it's for both.

"perdón" is not a word that has gender... however you can use "perdona" too. I think is more common to use "perdón."
-Perdón por hablarte mal ayer.
-Perdona por lo que pasó ayer entre nosotros (this sounds a little weird)
-Perdóname por lo que pasó ayer entre nosotros

Perdón is a noun, which is always a masculine word. We also use it as an interjection when apologizing, but you may see it as a shorter and weaker version of saying "Te pido perdón", in a similar manner to English's "Sorry" and "I'm sorry". You don't have to change the noun's gender to match the person-you're-talking to's.
Now, perdona is the verb perdonar (Which is similar in use and meaning to the English "forgive") conjugated into the imperative mood for the second person singular (Tú). It can change to the formal "perdone" (for usted) or the plural "perdonen" (for ustedes). Verbs in Spanish don't have the characteristic of gender, thus you may use either perdona or perdone for any men or women; the only difference between the two would be that perdone is more formal and perdona more casual.
Finally, and since perdonar is a transitive verb (meaning it takes a grammatical object), you may use a "pronombre enclítico" which is simply putting the object pronoun at the end of the verb. Hence "Perdóname", "Perdónanos", "Perdónalo", etc. are possible too.
