A little unnatural. How’s this?
“I’m studying music theory as a way of dealing with my anxiety that people who are knowledgeable about music will think my music is a mess. ( I would prefer to say that “people who are knowledgeable about music will think that I don’t know what I am doing.”)
But actually I don’t know that studying music theory is really going to help.
