Bobby and I will play a game: at some point in the future, we will start playing a game and probably finish it. Here, the fact of playing the game in the future is the most important part.
He and I will be playing: here the continuous time period during which you are playing be game is important. Eg. “We will be playing a game tomorrow, so during that time, don’t come over, we’ll be busy”
