I found it in a manual: “ people do not recognize what your qualities as a person”
For me it’s not correct, I think it should be “what are your qualities as a person”
In a book we have “what your qualities as a person” without “are”
What do you think of it?

Personally I think the correct way to say this would be, "People do not recognize what are your qualities are as a person."
