The connotation of "get around to it" though, is that it's not a priority for you, whereas if you say "I'll find time to do it", this implies not necessarily that it's a priority, but it is on your mind to finish it. "I'll get around to it" implies you'll do it when you feel like it, or that it's simply not top of the list of your priorities.

Yes, it's simliar to when I find time. But even more so it's like saying, "When I feel like doing it, I will"
My wife asks if I'm ever going to mow the lawn. I might reply, "I'll get around to doing it sooner or later.
