No. The answer is A. You only need one conjunction, which is the word "although" in this case.
Keep in mind the word "yet" has two different usages — a conjunction and an adverb. When it's placed after a comma, it's being used as a conjunction. If it were used an adverb, it would say "his works are not widely read yet" or "his works are not yet widely read" which would be okay.
