@1Nick4 🤔 I think my first answer was a bit unclear. More like I'm going to do something till I cannot anymore.
Here's an example:
I'm going to take it all the way.
I'm going to keep doing this till the end or until I can't anymore.
I'm going to run all the way to his house.
I'm going to keep running till I get to his house.

It means to do something fully.
example:
I'm going to run all the way around the park!
- English (US)
It means that you did something fully and also indicates that whatever you did was long.
Ex: I went all the way to the bank, I kicked the soccer ball all the way into the stadium, I was all the way done, and then my boss told me to do it differently.
Sometimes it's said to indicate frustration. Other times to brag or boast about something you did.
- English (US)
Do to something fully or to the full extent. Or it could be measuring distance like running all the way around a track.

@Brennaaa@Ahwhoy@Hannahlovesnoodles Thank y'all. So "I'm gonna take it all the way" means nothing more than I take something fully?

@Ahwhoy Sorry if I sound dumb, but this means that both the version saying you do something fully and the version saying you do something until you cannot anymore are right in principle, but my example implies the second meaning?
- English (US)
@1Nick4 Never apologize for learning, friend.
Correct!
"I'm going to take it all the way" is natural sounding. For sure. It means I'm going to do it completely and fully.

@Ahwhoy Thank you so much :) One more thing: You "translate" that "take it" in the example with "do it". Do you do this to make it more general or is taking something in this situation interchangeable with doing something?
- English (US)
These mean the same thing. I didn't even notice that I interchanged the two words. 😂
