“Youngsters” would normally be used by someone 40+ years old. It’s not so common and it’s an informal expression

I would even say older than 65-70 for youngster and I have rarely if ever heard someone say oldster.

@nomadatlatl both are outdated words.. it’s from 70s-80s era. some words or phrases die in English. But oldster is 100% more uncommon out of the two.
You definitely would not speak of someone else as an oldster, it’s almost rude 🤭
