“I found” means you discovered something. “I found my missing wallet.”
“I found out” means you got information. “I found out that I left my wallet at Joe’s house.”

Fond is unrelated to found though. You can say “I am fond of it” meaning “I like it”

No, “I fond” is never correct. It must be “I am fond of” or “they are fond of”.
Eg “My children are fond of going to see their grandparents.”
“I am fond of Mexican food.”
