The first sentence is a little out of order.
“They’ll check every nook and cranny of your essay.” Sounds more natural. “Every nook and cranny” needs the object to go before it or not at all.
For example,
“They checked every nook and cranny of the house” (‘of the house’ comes second)
“They searched every nook and cranny” (object is omitted because the context of the conversation makes the object obvious).
However, I would be careful using “nook and cranny” like this. “Nook and cranny” is best used with physical places as compared to concepts.
The second sentence is perfect!
