Question about Portuguese (Brazil)
What does “Partiu Google Tradutor” mean? Does it mean figuratively that a person sort of broke Google Translate by adding a input so tricky that it couldn't translate?
The full context is a conversation. Person A asks Person B what an expression means, then Person B says “nunca ouvi essa expressão”, then Person A says “Partiu Google Tradutor”.

@simsim170 it is basically like “i don’t understand this expression”(nunca ouvi essa expressão), then “let’s go to google translate” (partiu google tradutor.)

@henrique00 Oh, got it!
What's the difference between “vamos a” and “partiu”?
Vamos a Google Tradutor = Partiu Google Tradutor (?)
Are these synonyms?

@henrique00 Does “partiu meu coração” mean “I want to go into your heart” as in “I want to be loved by you”? Because I came across this sentence translated as “broke my heart”.
- Portuguese (Brazil)
@simsim170 there is no difference, the only thing is that "partiu" is more informal, and "vamos a” is more formal.
- Portuguese (Brazil)
@simsim170 it is because “partiu”has more than one meaning, it also means something to be broken, like “você partiu meu coração” (you broke my heart”.
- Portuguese (Brazil)
@simsim170 you can search a brazilian music that have this same name on youtube and you”ll understand better lol

@simsim170 partiu meu coração means "broke my heart" indeed. The verb "partir" can mean something like "cut" or "broke"... for example: He broke the table in two - "Ele partiu a mesa em dois"
- Portuguese (Brazil)
@simsim170 "Partir" can mean "to go", "to leave" or "to break something in half".
"Partiu Google Tradutor" means "let's go to Google Translate", but notice that in this sentence it is used as a slang
