Is the structure "Somebody has ABC as well as being XYZ." correct?

That would be correct, but the combination of a "to have" and a "to be" sounds slightly clunky to my ear in this way. Another way of saying it would be "on top of." Like you are putting your qualification in a pile for them to look at.
example: "On top of being a native English speaker, I have a 120-hour TEFL qualification."

It sounds pretty awkward, since it's not a parallel construction -- "have a 120-hour qualification" is plain present and "being a native English speaker" is a gerund phrase. Ideally, the two parts of the sentence should match:
I have a 120-hour TEFL qualification as well as native English-speaking ability. (both parts are objects of the verb "have")
I have a 120-hour TEFL qualification, and I'm also a native English speaker. (both parts are clauses in plain present)
I don't know if that'd stop a school from hiring someone who says that -- not every native speaker is a skilled writer.
