"I can't untie this. Can you help me with it?" (As long as the context is clear about what you need help with, it should remain pretty obvious what you're talking about.)

@jimmyscinnabon Thanks, but “untie this tie” uses the word “tie” twice. Do you have some methods to avoid repeating “tie”?

The last two are a bit more uncommon where I'm from, but if you're adamant about not saying "tie" twice, they'll work!

@branduhn Depending on whom you're talking to, it can also work!
"Deal with" comes off more as you've tried repeatedly to tie it, but you just can't get it. So it gives a more like "I'm annoyed with this, please help me out." feeling.
"I can't deal with this tie. Please help me."
"I can't deal with these shoe laces. Please help me."
"I can't deal with these shirt buttons. Please help me."
(Gave you the other two examples to show that it can be used with other scenarios as well!)
