They are similar but not exactly the same. Interest is more commonly used with hobbies and activities, while attraction tends to be used in relationships. Attraction can also be used for aesthetics, ex: "I've lost my attraction to the arts." You could also say "I've lost interest in the arts." They both have essentially the same meaning, but the sentence that uses attraction is a little more dramatic/intense.
