IF you are saying you won't make it to your destination because of the flat tire you would say
"I have a flat tire so I will be late." or "....I'm going to be late."
Also, you can just say "I have a flat" and people understand you mean a flat tire.

@RogerW001 You can say "My car has a flat" if you want. It's not wrong. What I mean is you don't have to say "flat tire" if you don't want to because saying you got a flat infers a flat tire. People would no what you mean.
I got a flat about halfway on my road trip and had to stop in a small town to get a new tire."
