That's not really how we use "off the top of my head."
For that sentence just:
"I can't remember what the title is, but it has an animal's name in it."
"Off the top of my head" is more for when you do actually give an answer, but it's not as complete as it might be if you could go look it up or think about it for a minute.
Can you tell me who was in your first grade class?
Off the top of my head, I can only remember Jimmy and Margaret.
