I’d like to make them sound as natural as possible!
You can totally rephrase the sentence is if you like🥹
1. Since I’m the tallest one in our office, I had to step on a chair to plug the electric heater in the ceiling socket. There was a little struggle, but I made it.
2. At the end of the day, my boss cried out in the bathroom, saying “Water is working, there’s water” Finally the pipes thawed out.
3. Two boxes of pizza were delivered from the head office. Everyone got excited, but for some reason, no one wanted to eat more than one piece. I suppose they are all worried about getting fat. I reluctantly took another piece of pizza and decided to skip dinner. What a shame.
4. It’s pretty easy to walk 10K steps on weekdays but on the weekend it’s going to be a totally different story.
5. Tomorrow I’ll have to leave for work early because it’s my turn to open the office gate.
6. I have an unexplainable gut feeling that I will find the love of my life this year.
