is it ok to say 'i cannot afford that job' or 'i can't afford to finish the job' to show you don't have time or capability to handle it?

@voyager_pop when you use afford it’s meaning that you don’t have the funds for that job, which doesn’t make much sense. The second sentence would be correct but unclear. I suggest saying, “I can’t handle that job right now.” Or “I can’t handle that right now.” Using handle is a better term for what you want to refer to. I hope that makes sense
