They are the same, however "care to" sounds more formal.

Here's my example and I hope it could help you.
"Would you like to" It used when offering something or inviting someone.
EXAMPLE: Would you like a drink? Would you like to join us for dinner tonight?
"Would you care to." A very polite way of asking if someone would like to do something.
EXAMPLE: Pardon me for interrupting your conversation, but would you care to dance?
Mr. Johnson, would you care to sign these documents?
