@Eloas Those are both correct!
“Anxious” and “nervous” can often be used interchangeably, but they don’t always carry the same meaning.
For example, we say:
✅ I’m really worried about her.
But not:
❌ I’m really anxious about her.
To worry is to fear a possible negative outcome for something or someone.
To be anxious is to feel stressed/nervous, but not always with a specific negative outcome in mind (although it can be used that way).
The differences are subtle but definitely there!
But in general, when we’re talking about things we feel apprehensive about, either word can be used.
✅ I’m worried about my test results.
✅ I’m anxious about my test results.
Also note that sometimes people do use “anxious” to mean “eager”, but it doesn’t sound quite right.
❌ I’m anxious to meet her.
✅ I’m eager to meet her.
