@25401abb it’s a way to describe how long the list is. usually it’s not used with people you aren’t close with since it has a very casual tone (plus a “swear” word), but it’s a very dramatic way to say the list is long.
For example:
“Have you seen the class list yet?”
“Yeah! That’s a long ass list!”

When "ass" is used as a suffix, it means something like "very" or "extremely". Kind of like 超～ or 激～ It should be written like this: "long-ass list", but since it is slightly rude slang, many people do not care about writing it correctly, and will use a space instead of a dash.
超激辛カレー = spicy-ass curry.
