Basically, students enter school after they are informed of school rules, educational policy and so on.
If a school fails to let their students know such things, the school is to blame.
However, in cases where suitable process is taken and students are admitted, they have to follow its school rules.

The only thing missing is a comma after “educational policy”, because it’s a separate item in the list you made (“and so on” also counts as an item in the list).
