Question about English (US)
Does anyone know a cool book (or several) where the story plays in the Middle Ages? The language level or the age group they're intended for doesn't matter.
Thanks in advance😊

An author named Jack Whyte wrote two different book series'. The one I really liked is set in the very early Middle Ages, commonly called the Dark Ages. The first book is called The Sky Stone.
It deals with the retreat of the Romans in Britain and goes forward several generations. It's probably considered advanced reading and it's definitely for adults. Graphic violence, cruelty and sex.
I can't remember the name of his second series. It's takes place 700 odd years later during the crusades. His writing was just as good, but I couldn't get into the story as easily.

@COASTBC Thanks a lot :) Maybe I can take a look at those series on the internet. They definitely sound interesting.

@1Nick4 You're welcome.
You will probably find reviews of them online and perhaps e-book or audiobook versions.
There's a surprising amount of audiobooks on YouTube, Although not these ones.
A channel called Agro Squirrel narrates amateur short stories he finds on Reddit. Mostly science fiction and some fantasy.
He includes links to the text, which can be useful for listening and reading practice. Do note, those commonly have minor grammar, tense and spelling errors.
