Question about English (US)
I wanna know do you often use the words 'mustn't' and 'needn't' in the US?
because English grammar book explains these words, but I rarely encounter these words in movies or on YouTube.

I hardly ever use "needn't" and infrequently use "mustn't" (in the US, at least).
Instead of needn't I'd use "don't need to"
e.g. "You needn't clean the dishes." --> "You don't need to clean the dishes"
If I'm saying "must not" I wouldn't really use the contraction very often.
e.g. A: "There's no way that's correct..."
B: "Mustn't be" --> "Must not be"

They're much more common in UK English. "Mustn't" is occasionally used in formal US English, and "needn't" is not used.

i have used them both, but only rarely, and they are becoming too archaic with their formality.
but if you read many English books, you will see them.
