Just a simple question.

We say "I didn't write your article yet, I will have to do that!" but can we say "I would have to do that" in the conditional?

It depends, do you think you will really write it or not? Would you say "je devrai" or "je devrais"?

"will" is probably going to sound more natural here in most cases.

@Gejemica Yes. I often use "I would have to do that", when someone tells me that I have something to do, which is not really urgent, or not something important, then I use the conditional.. because it's not a certain fact of the future.. it's just "I would.." - En Français : "J'aurai à faire ça..."
