Question about English (US)
Hi if you have designed your own resume or read others' resumes, you may have noticed something interesting:
That some words or experiences mentioned in resumes cannot be taken literally (Or at a face value?)
For example,
One may have helped sorted certain files for a project in an internship, which ends up in a resume as "Participated in and significantly accelerated the process of project X"
One may know how to write an essay and make an excel for school work, which appear in a resume as "excellent Office skills."
● Would you say these mentioned above are common?
● How would you describe them? Business English? Wordplay? Or something else?

这是很真长的,甚至可以说是expected。虽然不能太夸张,但是不这样写简历,反而会吃亏的
目前想不到什么形容这个的专词,口语可以就说是playing up your skills, 负面一点可以说是 exaggerating on your resume
