I think most people would agree that hunching is when the head and shoulders are bent forward, not straight. Slouching is more like the whole upper body, from the waist up, is sitting in a lazy position – “like a sack of potatoes“, as the expression goes.
Probably most people use these words interchangeably, but I think there is a difference, for what that’s worth.
