"you are" becomes "you're", this is called a contraction.
you're and your are different words but they are said the same way. (words like these are called homophones)
ALL ENGLISH SPEAKERS use contractions. You can identify a contraction by the '.
're and 's are the most common contractions.

In addition to what @Iwyscrtins said. The pronunciation of both your and you're can sound different than the dictionary pronunciation. The dictionary says "y-or" like the word "or" but with a Y sound at the beginning. Depending on the speakers accent it often sounds like "y-er" The vowel sounds the same the end of "water"
I recorded both, the dictionary version first and then the accented version.
