Make the bed to have breakfast.
Are they the same thing? 🤔

@Mintesnot they both mean to go for the purpose of getting it, not two separate actions
example:
my friend dropped a ball and it rolled away
I would say to them "go and get it" meaning "go in order to get the ball"
get = fetch in this context

@Mintesnot "make the bed and have breakfast" is saying to do two separate actions. (making the bed and having breakfast)
"make the bed to have breakfast" means "if you make the bed, you will be able to have breakfast."
they are still two separate actions, but this one is a cause and effect
