Question about English (US)
l always have a lot of things to do. To rest myself, I think I need to have some time to do nothing, but I can't do. At least I'll check social media on my phone only three times a day. Well, it seems I declared that before. LOL!
Are my sentences correct?

l always have a lot of things to do. To rest, I think I need to have some down-time, but I can't afford that. At least I'll check social media on my phone only three times a day. Well, it seems I have said that before. LOL!
—I have written this in a natural, casual style used by native English speakers. Down-time means time spent resting and doing nothing.

Sounds great! instead of "declared" you could say "said".
Instead of this, "To rest myself, I think I need to have some time to do nothing, but I can't do"
you could say " I think I need to rest sometimes, but I can't sit and do nothing"
This is a more common way of saying it.
