YET: something that has not happened.
"I haven't heard from her yet."

STILL has various meanings depending on how it is used.
"He STILL loves her." (he remains in love with her)
"This might STILL happen." (in the future, but has kot yet).
"Hold STILL." (Don't move).
"The night is very STILL." (quite)
"I STILL want to see Spain." (Has a desire to).

YET is something that hasn't happened yet, and STTILL is used to describe something that has been going on for a long time.
