I think both are correct, personally ‘A’ would be more natural for me but I believe replacing “to” with “for” would make it grammatically correct

“B” is more natural.
“A” might sound more natural if you say “This book is a great guide when learning English” or “This book is a great guide if you’re learning English”

In the first example you could also say, "when" or "for" instead of "to".
Could also say, "language guide"
