「平日」week day は、一週間の内、休日、振替休日、国民の休日や、長期休暇などを除いた「普通の日( ordinary day )」のことで、月曜日から金曜日までを指します。
「日常」daily は、「普段」や「日頃」に似ていて、いつもしている「普段の生活( daily life ) 」が繰り広げられていたり続いていることを指します。
