Q: When was the last time you changed your exercise routine?
A: It was last summer, when I made it to the Tokyo Marathon 2023. I need to run longer and more frequently than before, so I've been training for it. Even after the Tokyo Marathon, I want to continue to run for other marathons.

Yes, it sounds pretty natural. However it can sound more natural:
