So close! Instead of saying “little plants” (小さな植物) you should say “few plants” (植物の数が少ない。ほとんどいないみたいな感じ). Other than that it’s good!

The sentence looks good. I would change the word little to few.
Little plants can grow would mean... plants of a small size are able to grow.
few plants can grow would mean.... not many plants can grow.
