They are both equally appropriate to use, but I would say the second one.

Both are okay. I would use the first one if someone has a different opinion. Eg. 1st person - You look like you're in your 60's. Second person - But most people say I look younger than my age!!
I think I will use the second one more generally.

@shiroiyasha but if someone says “You look younger than your age” and I want to say “Yeah, I know, MANY or MOST people say that”

@Alina_92 I think 'many' sounds better here. 'Most' sounds like you want to say 'most people I talk to', or 'most people I meet'. But you wouldn't want to say that unless you are answering a contradicting statement. So, for a non-contradicting statement like the above one, 'many' in general sounds better, but 'most ' is also not wrong.
