Question about English (US)

What does To enjoy the benefits of something and not wanting to accept the responsibilities that come with it mean?

I can think of two instances but I don't know if they are accurate.
1. To enjoy the benefits of having money(living in a good apartment, taking trips, attending musical shows, just living good generally) and not being happy wanting to accept the responsibilities that come with it(which is working for it)
2. To enjoy the benefits of having good grades( making As and Bs) but not wanting to accept the responsibilities that come with it(which include being punctual, not skipping classes, and studying very hard, amongst others)
