They went to a beach in Destine, Florida, spent 7 hours , for the Independence Day Holiday, and to Key West, Florida, spend 20 hours for Thanksgiving, by car. Does this sound natural?

Are you saying it took 7 hours to drive, or that they spent 7 hours at the beach after they arrived?
I am guessing you mean the first. I would say:
For Independence Day they drove 7 hours to a beach in Destine, Florida, and for Thanksgiving they drove 20 hours to Key West, Florida.
