Question about English (UK)
In Spanish we've got a tense called Present Subjunctive.
How can I use this tense in English?
I only can say: Do you want me to go? (quieres que vaya)
But if I try to say other sentence with the tense I just use "that" for example: It's better that you eat (Es mejor que comas)
and I really don't know if it's right.
So... Might you be so kind of answering my doubt?
Thank you 😊

"It's better that you eat" is correct. The subjunctive mood isn't very apparent in English and isn't used very often. When it is used, the base form of the infinitive is used. This means that it only differs from the indicative in the 3rd person singular. For example "It is important that he eat" instead of "It is important that he eats" but the second sentence is also acceptable in modern English. I don't think you need to worry about it too much as most English speakers don't even know about the subjunctive mood in English and it is seldom used in conversation.
