Question about United States

What do you like most about the States?

Freedom. We don't have to worry about the scrutiny of our government so long as they act in our favor.

@EthanNeal at rank 23, the US didn't even make it in the top 20 freest countries in the world. That being said, Mexico ranked 77th, so there is that.

The high standard of living and the positive culture and ideology that no matter where you come from, you can accomplish the American dream.

I like that people have such a weird perception of the U.S. Some people think it is some amazing wonderland, others think it's full of lazy, obese, idiots armed with guns. It's actually both of those things depending on where you are inside the U.S. Every state is really different.

I love the diversity and open minded people here. don't get me wrong there are still a lot of jerks , but still

lots of beautiful scenery, plenty of big cities, marginally good people :)

I appreciate the fact we have some semblance of democracy. There is a lot of corruption in it, but it's really a wonder that it works on such a large scale. I also appreciate the ability to travel freely between states, which gives me a lot to explore.
