I'm latina and I've been living in France for years. They don't know a lot about any hispanic culture, but they love learning about it. They find the Spanish language beautiful. But due to their lack of knowledge about hispanics, they can ask some weird questions. As a Cuban, I've always gotten the comment : "You're Cuban?! But why aren't you black?!" ... Many aren't aware of the diversity of our community, we can be all shapes and color. But, as I said before, they're open to learning about our culture!

@AnaPanda what you said is true we don't know about Latin culture, we know more about Spain because a loooot of French go and visit Spain. And many of us show interest in the Spanish language, it sounds like music to our ears and it's so easy to learn because it's related to roman languages just like French. We love you guys.
