Question about Korean
Is it impolite to use 너 or 네가 when talking to someone? If I'm talking to a group of people and I want to ask one person "어제 너 어디에 있었어요", is that okay? Is using 당신 usually impolite?

너 is a informal word, so "어제 너 어디에 있었어요" is weird because '-요' is formal ending of the sentence.
You should be careful to use 당신.
We don't usually use 당신 in speaking.
You can be impolite when you use it in inappropriate way.
