Sudden is an adjective meaning done quickly. There is an adverb form of this word "suddenly" which means that an action was done quickly. Example: He suddenly appeared in the classroom. Here the action appeared was done quickly. Now suddenness is a noun form of this word. It is used much less than sudden or suddenly. A suddenness is an unexpected occasion or occurence. Personally I would stay away from using this form of the word unless writing it in a poem or something where it seems to fit. In everyday language this does not sound natural.

It doesn't sound very grammatical, but I do see it used occasionally. Usually in context like "I was surprised by the suddenness of his anger", meaning I was surprised by how suddenly (quickly, seemingly without reason) he became angry.
