My friend who lives in germany told me to come to her house during Christmas.

Nothing in particular pops up for me. Similar to the japanese we don't wear street shoes inside the house, Germans like being asked if it's ok to take them off or leave them on.

I don't know about Japan but in Germany (where my boyfriend is from in Hessen, I'm not sure about the rest of Germany) they celebrate Christmas on 24th of December as the first Christmas day. The 25th and 26th of December are second Christmas day and third Christmas day. Nothing special usually happens on the 25th. All the family activities are the 24th and 26th.
(I don't know if this is the whole of Germany or not though).

its in whole germany. 24th is christmas eve and 25th and 26th are First and second christmas Day. On 25,26 the most germans visit their relativs!
