Many Finns learn Asian languages such as Japanese, Korean and Arabic, which are harder languages than European languages!

I have a hard time learning new languages because I have such a poor memory 😀
But no, I don't think Finns have a particularly hard time learning languages. Languages that rely a lot on intonation are hard for us though, since Finnish is quite monotone in pronounciation.

I study swedish, english, german and chinese and they are not extremely hard... Different languages yes but I wouldn't say too hard. Chinese of german maybe the hardest

Not really, depends on if I'm interested in the language. And I have heard many say that Finnish people learn asian languages faster than others might~

I would say that even when Finns native language is not connected to others than Estonian and people are used to idea that you need to learn languages and its not impossible. At the moment Finnish is so small language that everyone understands people don't speak Finnish outside Finland.
To me most difficult part comes from different vocal maps as Finnish is monotonal language eg. south German, Russian, French, tonal languages etc

Learning languages isn't particularly difficult to Finns. Most of us start learning English in school when we're nine years old. It gives a good base for learning the Germanic and Romance languages, from which most also have simple grammar.
You don't have to speak a simple or a similar language in order to be able to learn other languages.

@sli381207 yep it's not, grammar and vocabulary, also characters are easy to remember but listening is what makes it pretty difficult for me :D I'd still say german is maybe harder🤔

Chop chop vankeri douchebag fish apple pie!
